For the WP errorHandle WordPress plugin and the errorHandle hosted AI
service. Last updated 5 October 2026.
What this covers
These terms cover the errorHandle hosted AI service —
the optional service that supplies AI to the WP errorHandle plugin. They
apply only if you choose to use it.
The plugin itself is free software licensed under the
GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. Nothing here restricts the
rights that licence gives you. You may use, study, modify and redistribute
the plugin regardless of whether you ever use our service.
The free allowance
If you choose hosted AI, we pay for a limited number of AI generations on
your behalf:
- Three commands as soon as you opt in, with no account and
no email address. - Seven more once you confirm an email address.
- Ten in total, for the lifetime of that site.
Some things worth stating plainly:
- Confirming your email does not reset the count. If you have used three,
seven remain. - A command counts when it produces a change you applied. Previews,
clarifying questions, refusals, failures and changes you decide not to apply
are not counted. - Deleting and reinstalling the plugin does not grant another ten. The count
belongs to the site. - Ten is a total, not a monthly figure.
What happens when the ten are used
The hosted AI stops generating new plans for that site. Nothing
else stops. Everything you have already built — automations, managed
code, scheduling, history, undo — continues to work, because none of it uses
AI. Every capability of the plugin remains available.
To carry on creating with AI you can connect your own provider account,
which we do not meter or limit in any way, or use the offline planner.
We intend to offer a paid plan later. It does not exist yet.
There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no payment details are collected
at any point.
Using your own API key
When you connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google account, your
requests go directly from your server to that provider. We are not involved,
we receive nothing, and we impose no limit. Your provider bills you under
their terms, and their terms govern that use.
Acceptable use
While using the hosted service, please do not:
- Attempt to obtain more than one free allowance for the same site, for
example by registering variations of a domain. - Interfere with the entitlement counting, or present modified software as
reporting honestly when it does not. - Use the service to generate content that is unlawful, or to attack or
probe systems you do not control. - Resell or redistribute access to the hosted service. The plugin you may
redistribute freely; our service is ours to provide.
We may suspend the hosted service for a site that does these things. That
does not affect your rights to the plugin under the GPL.
Availability
The hosted service is provided free of charge and without a service level
commitment. It may be unavailable, and we may change or withdraw it. If we
withdraw it we will say so in the plugin and in its changelog.
Because it is free, there is nothing to refund and no credit to issue.
AI output
Plans are produced by an AI model and are not guaranteed to be correct or
suitable. WP errorHandle is built so that you see what will change before it
changes, and can undo it afterwards — use that. Review every
plan before applying it, and keep backups of your site as you would with any
software that can modify it.
You are responsible for what you choose to apply to your site.
No warranty
The plugin is distributed under the GPL and comes with no warranty, as that
licence states. The hosted service is likewise provided “as is”, without
warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, errorHandle LLC is not liable for indirect
or consequential loss arising from use of the plugin or the hosted service.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
What the hosted service sends, keeps and does not keep is set out in the
WP errorHandle
Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, the plugin will ask for your agreement
again rather than assuming the agreement you already gave still applies.
